    Small Business Spoiler - Procrastination
One of the most common issues that comes up for business owners is procrastination -wasting time, putting obstacles in the way of taking action towards goals, making excuses for delays, creating confusion/ ‘busyness’ etc. Procrastination is a self-defeating behavior. As human beings, we are adept at creating convincing language that allows us to rationalize taking specific action or not taking action. We become masterful in presenting a logical sounding viewpoint that successfully defends our position to procrastinate. In this way, we give ourselves permission to step into avoidance, despite the results we say we want!Having a game plan with action steps can foster

    Fully Customizable Registration Forms
A lot of systems give you limited flexibility. You get their look and feel with any number of data fields for customization and that’s all. This can really limit your ability to create a seamless experience for your registrants from your website and marketing materials to the registration experience. Therefore, I recommend choosing a system that gives you full control over the look and feel as well as the information you capture during registration. You see, every event is different: maybe you need critical information that's unique to the people attending your event, or maybe you need to collect different information from different types of registrants such as att

An Interchange Plus Pricing Structure Can Greatly Reduce Your Monthly Credit Card Processing Fees
Traditionally small to mid sized businesses have been set up with what is called multi-tier pricing for their credit card processing. This system is usually set up with three tiers (qualified, mid-qualified, and non-qualifed.) Occassionally, if the business owner has negotiated well, there will be a fourth tier for qualified offline debit cards. While this system has worked well for many years, the increasing number of rewards and corporate cards being issued has made this type of pricing obsolete.Visa and Mastercard have many different interchange categories for the multiple card types that are issued. Tier pricing takes a large number of these categories and lumps

Construction Estimating In Building Has Benefits For You
If you are just starting out in construction, the process of bidding may be a little confusing. When you are drawing up an estimate, you are basically calculating the total expense of the project you want to bid on. It is important that you remember to include all expenses and allow for unforeseen expenses that may crop up. When you estimate a job, you need to stay as close to the estimate as possible. This is very important because if you do not estimate properly, and ask the client for more money to complete the project he or she will undoubtedly become angry. The contractor will loose money in the end. On the other hand, if you over estimate then the client will most l

    3. Subscriber List - This is sometimes known as an email list, or an ezine list (ezine is short for electronic magazine). It’s also a list of people who have given permission for the marketer to send them emails, which may contain advertising. This is also known as an opt-in list, because subscribers opt-in to receive the emails. This prevents people from complaining that an email is Spam as there will be a record of them agreeing to receive the emails. Another snippet of slang is double opt-in, which just means after filling out a form, the potential subscriber will receive an email asking them to verify that they agree to accept future emails before they are actually added to the email list to receive them.

    4. Viral Marketing - This little phrase is used to describe a way of increasing your business, or website reach, by using a "viral technique." In real life a virus spreads out by people contacting one another, and computer viruses are spread by computers contacting other computers. Some clever Internet gurus realized they could use the power of people to send each other information, and then watched that information spread in the same way as a virus. Giving away a free gift, which contains a link to your business, and allowing others to give it away too will work like a virus spreading the word to others as people send it on to their friends. T
