    • Increase Your Pipeline: Deploying the Cost Effective Sales Team
Based on my talks with local executives, indicators point toward our getting back to business. Many companies that were taking a wait and see stance on Sales are now beginning to once again invest in selling. As we all know from the go-go days, deploying a new sales team takes significant investment, especially if the sale cycle is lengthy. When venture investment was pouring in, I saw scores of companies spend months building and investing in a sales infrastructure before a single call was made! Their new sales VP would first start his search for regional managers who would subsequently recruit field reps. And then, after the grand sales kick off, it was 6-9 months before the first sale! This just isn’t practical for most companies, regardless of the economic enviro
You probably know all about the ATM fees your bank charges. But you may be in for a surprise if your bank adds an additional 3% “foreign exchange” fee on top of that for ATM withdrawals made overseas. That’s pretty common so it pays to check the list first and go with the bank that has competitive rates. The same applies to your credit card. Some credit card companies charge as much as a 3% adder for overseas purchases while there is at least one company that charges a 0% adder and gives the best available exchange rate on the day of purchase.

      ATM Withdrawals

In many countries using your ATM card is convenient, safe and you receive a better exchange rate than cash or travelers checks. Take the fun and exotic destination of Thailand, for example. ATMs are plentiful throughout the country, even in small cities, and there is no local ATM fee charged. Changing cash or travelers checks is convenient only in heart of the major tourist destinations and only during opening hours of the exchange windows. Elsewhere you’ll need to visit a bank branch during normal banking hours. So use your ATM. But check this list first:

If there is one thing that worries an individual who want to pursue a teaching career is that their cover letter must sound very good and their writing skills must be perfect. Of course you need to write well but it doesn’t have to be perfect.Sometimes when we try to write perfectly we tend to put our writing sound odd by using words unknown by most people or we use a style of writing that was used by ancient people.Do not worry too much about having to write a cover letter just because you are applying for a teaching position because if you can write any cover letter then you can write this one. • Fun Times As You Write Your Bar Business Plan
There are many ways in which business owners combine having fun and running a business, and it can seem to many that bar owners have the best of both worlds, with both a lucrative business and a great place to relax and have fun.The reality is not easy, and it can be difficult to start a new bar or night club. In order to get that new business off the ground, it is important to first create a winning bar business plan.Using A Business Plan To Help Your Bar Business Get Off Of The GroundWithout such a bar business plan it can be nearly impossible for the bar owner to attract the investments that are needed to get the new business off the ground.Starting a new bar or night club can be quite expensive with equipment to buy, space to rent, e

I have been an entrepreneur for over twenty years and have absolutely embraced information that would help maintain a well managed and profitable business. We have been a part of the information era for sometime now. As business owners, we have access to more information than ever in this generation of technology. But how can we use this technology to aid our business?Today's business environment creates both opportunities and challenges. Powerful technology, including the internet, provides access to global markets and increases your potential for incredible gains. However, managing the technology and taking advantage of the opportunities it provides can be very threatening for small business owners who lack an extensive budget and a dedicated IT department or pers

The fees charged by the first three banks in this list are from my own recent personal experience. I got burned by the Citibank 3% fee when they changed their fee structure in late 2006. When you make a sizable withdrawal that 3% fee ends up being far more than any normal ATM fees. WaMu (that’s the online banking division of Washington Mutual) has a competitive 1% foreign exchange fee. I call this the “standard” fee because it is the fee that Visa international charges on foreign money transactions and the banks charge this fee to recoup that cost. Interestingly, although the Fidelity representative I spoke with said that this 1% fee is included for ATM withdrawals from a Fidelity core account I have made many withdrawals and there is no fee! Is this a mistake? Probably not. Perhaps it is related to the type of account, such as a Premium Services account. The other notable point is that m
