    We explained to them that as Realtors we don't discriminate! We promised that we'll make arrangements for them to view properties in their price range, but as far as neighborhoods, they can do the due diligence in making a decision where they'd like to reside!

    Our agent took them to 10 houses, they wanted to place an offer on one of the homes and naturally we started writing the offer.

    The couple start questioning us again about the neighborhood.

    The conversation is as follows:

    Couple: So the area, tell me about it one more time! Is it a crime free area?

    Me: The neighborhood you selected has always been very popular for families, the schools in this area are exceptional.

    Couple: Great,but the flavor of the area can you elaborate?

    Me: Flavor? The area consists of alot pf professional people who want to live in a beautiful area.

    Couple: Look, we`re not going to just buy a home without knowing what type of people live here. I`m sure you can tell us! After all we`re buying a home from you folks!

    The young couple smiled and got up from our conference table. I realized at that point that these were "Testers" who check out companies to make sure they don't discriminate. I guess we passed the test!
