Using Technology to Manage Customer Loyalty
Don’t let your customer satisfaction research initiative collect dust on a shelf. Integrate technology with research to optimize the use of customer information. The typical company spends 80% of customer research time and effort gathering information, and only 20% of that time using it. Companies conduct research to

I’m writing this on the 27th of November, and I’ve been finished my novel for five days now. My only regret was underestimating myself with my word count goals. I surprised myself a lot during my month-long exercise. My novel grew to even more than I had imagined, and I wrote more than I thought I was capable of writing.

Offshore IT Outsourcing Predictions for 2007
For the year leading up to the turn of the century, IT resources were bound up making sure disaster did not hit when the clock struck midnight on that special night. Outsourcing was at its highest, for overseas firms who made a specialty of Y2K (year 2000) preparedness. After the Y2K scare was over, there was a slight
Embrace the fear. That’s exactly what I did in attempting 50,000 words in 30 days. One of 70,000 crazy souls, I was attempting NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month. For more info on this crazy endeavor, you can visit the group's official website.

My favorite type of novels has always been the totalitarian dystopia, novels like 1984 and Brave New World. I started writing a novel once before and quickly grew bored with the topic and genre. I realized since then that the type of novel I had been writing was not one that I would have liked to read myself. How then could I expect myself to stay interested long enough to write it?

My NaNo novel was an attempt at entertaining myself, as well as anyone else who wanted to follow along in my adventure. You see, the NaNo journey is even more entertaining that the finished product.

To prepare myself for this journey, I participated in a daily writing exercise. During the month of October, I wrote every single day in order to prepare myself for the marathon of NaNo. I think it worked very well to get me into a routine of writing every day.

When November arrived, I already had everything planned ahead. I had a very basic rough draft of my novel, for I know the propensity my novels have for going off on their own. I created only a very rough outline so that I could keep track of where I wanted to go, while at the same time letting my characters and plot have some fun, too.

I also had daily writing goals. My weekends tend to be busier than my weekdays, so I made a schedule of attempting 2,273 words per weekday (instead of the normal NaNo 1,667 words per day). For the most part, I stuck to the schedule, even going far over the goal on a number of days. Toward the middle of the month, I realized that it was going to be quite possible for me to finish early, and in a daring move, I upped my daily writing goal.

    Definition of Insurance
Perhaps one of the problems contributing to the rising cost of health insurance stems from the fact that many people have lost sight of the meaning of insurance. When you ask someone what's important to them about their insurance, you'll often hear things like 'good preventative care benefits' or 'low copays for office visits

My advice for anyone considering doing NaNo next year is to know yourself. I’m a very goal-oriented person, so setting daily goals for myself worked very well. Know what works best for you, and know what motivations work for you. Don’t be too hard on yourself if you fail to meet a goal, just keep writing and moving forward! It’s all about the journey! Embrace the fear!
