“Signature service” is a term that I often use to represent something that is fresh and unique to a customer’s experience with your business. All companies have “signature products” that separate them from the rest of the pack, something that their competitor lacks. "Signature service" is just that. Customer service that is unique and special; that when a guest leaves your restaurant they scratch their heads and go “WOW”. The federal government number purpose is to create jobs. Everything you do is about jobs. Paying taxes is about jobs. Advertising is about jobs. Jobs are about earning money. When Are Background Checks A Good Idea?
Background checks can be used for a variety of purposes and are a good way to have confidence that someone with whom you are involved personally or professionally is disclosing all necessary information. Employers often use background checks to get verification of previous employment, driving records and to ensure there is no criminal activity. This is an important step in the hiring process especially in positions where employees may handle sensitive information or who may be working with the public or with children. Having the security that background checks were made will not only allow the employer to feel better about their hiring decision but it may also reduce the liability of the company should something happen in the course of employment and the company is sued.Background checks are not only for employers, though. Imagineer Your Success
One of the strategies I teach to PULL your business forward, almost effortlessly, is to create a powerful vision for your business. My private clients have found this exercise to be both motivating and inspiring, and I'm certain you will too.Once a year, I take a short retreat to work on revising my vision for my business (and my life). This is an annual break I take away from my business (but with my family, although some of my clients prefer to go it alone, which is perfectly fine) to really think about and decide what I want the next 1 to 3 years to look like. I write my vision and I create a whole bunch of goals for my business. I also use this time to talk with my husband about my vision and goals. He is a great sounding board for all the ideas I come up with... and we usually have this conversation while hanging out on the beach... :)Being near the water definitely has some powerfully positive effects on my brain, and I always come away fro

Career Training in Midlife – Is Starting Again Worth the Risk?
Having to enroll on a career training course is perhaps one of the biggest hurdles faced by those who wish to change career in midlife. Memories of school or college, homework, exams and unsympathetic teachers are high on the list of fears. However, an increasing number of adults are unhappy with their present jobs.In the west, we now enjoy longer lives than previous generations and this means, at least for most of us, that we have to continue working longer. None of us can escape choice - we are faced with decisions every day, some seemingly irrelevant and others life-changing. But often we spend more time over trivial decisions, such as the colour of a new car, than we do when making major decisions such as which career to follow. The result is that many people reach their 40s or 50s with a feeling of discontent, a sense that something is missing. They might have been aware that their original career choice was not ideally suited to them, but life
