Tick Tock is a non-profit daycare in operation for 41years, which serves working families in the community that may not otherwise be able to afford daycare. Their largest contributor is the United Way and is also subsidized by Chester County Instructional Services. They serve about 120 children, 50% of whom are migrant. It is a wonderfully diverse community that teaches children skills they need to succeed in the future. Tick Tock also provides their children hot meals each day to give them the nutrition their bodies need to be able to learn.

Ann Stinson, Board President at Tick Tock, says, “The Holiday season is a very special time for the children and their families. The generosity of the community is extraordinary.” Following the recent schoolhouse slayings in Lancaster, Pennsylvania the New Garden police department came to the daycare out of concern, Chief of Police, Larry Dampman, explains.
