If you read that verse you'll find that Jabez simply asked God to bless him, to enlarge his coast, to be with him and keep him from evil. And God granted him what he requested! God didn't say what most people would have said, "Oh Jabez, you are getting greedy, just be satisfied with what you have!" No. God gave him what he requested!
