    Franchises - Success and You
Many people believe owning a franchise will make them rich, financially secure, and provide the life of their dreams. True, franchises have an extremely high success rate, and a very high satisfaction rate among their owners. But is that success guaranteed when you purchase a franchise? NO!There are no guarantees in life, or in franchises. There are those occasions when franchises are not profitable, lose money, and close. Although most franchises provide a proven business system, not all OWNERS are proven. Many enter into the franchise system, thinking all they have to do is come up with the money to get the business open, and it will run itself and they will make money. I don't how many times I have had a prospective franchisee say to me, "I want a franchise that makes a lot of money". Well, I have news for you, it's hard work. You have to WORK the system provided by the franchise. Many franchisees have impressive backgrounds and

    Outdoor Sign
Many business organizations that needs to disseminate late-breaking information to a large number of people. Out door sign boards are the perfect solution for them that command the attention of all who pass underneath.Out door sign boards utilize LED lights, which is immensely more efficient and brighter than standard incandescent lighting. Fluorescent lamps give off heat as a waster by-product, while out door sign boards do not. In fact, they are considered a “cold light” technology, which means that all of the energy going to the lamp is directed to making light, without any wasted heat. Out door sign boards are thus very energy efficient as well as very bright.Traffic management system, passenger information system, advertising, public notices, health and safety, time and temperature displays, company promotion are some the areas where outdoor sign boards are used most efficiently. The out door sign boards come in multi-lingua

But, as any good presenter knows, the investment in money, including travel expenses, is considerable—so considerable value must be given in return to the attendees.

I have attended and conducted hundreds of seminars, and noticed only a small number of attendees derive anywhere close to the benefit of what is possible.

I have seen attendees from all over the world who are exposed to some powerful and life-changing tools, techniques, and information from real experts. Yet few derive even a small fraction of value from the golden tips being offered by the speakers.

Franchise Agreements; Maintenance, Repair and Appearance of Business Location
Image is so vitally important to a franchising companies brand-name, that each and every franchisee must maintain consistency of appearance in their franchised outlets. This means that maintenance and repair of the business location must be up to standards of the confidential operations manual of the franchised business at all times. If a franchised outlet is in the state of disrepair and looks it, but customers will know and it will be difficult for them to maintain consistency and quality in the goods and services they perform and provide. It is for this reason that every franchisor must pay specific attention to this detail. Below is a clause I put into all of our franchise agreements to address this issue;3.18 Maintenance and Repair3.18.1 Maintenance and Appearance of Business LocationFranchisee must maintain the condition and appearance of the Franchised Business in a manner consistent with The Car Wash Guys System i

Keeping the Good Ones: 3 Keys to Retaining Top-Notch Employees
One of the most frustrating but common problems I come across in my consulting work is that of retaining key talent. Companies spend untold amounts of capital investing in tomorrow’s leaders, only to see them hastily depart down the road for what they view as better opportunities elsewhere. Many executives believe that money is a major reason behind many of these departures. Money does play a part, but only a very minor one. Money as a motivator is insufficient, though lack of money can be a demotivator. So, the old notion of throwing money after an employee who is unhappy and looking elsewhere will only serve to create an unhappy employee who is better off financially.Employees are motivated by a variety of factors, and thus there is no simple “shotgun method” to motivate mass numbers of employees. Motivation must be intrinsic. It comes from within each individual and cannot be “caught” or passed on (much like a common cold). To that en

Employee Retention is Important for Business Success
Employee retention matters to all companies, for many different reasons. A high turnover of employees not only results in a loss of skills, a waste of training time already spent but also indicates something wrong within a company that might need addressing.Turnover levels vary between different industries, and labor turnover in occupations such as call centers and the retail industries might not be so critical to a company as in the scientific, engineering and manufacturing industries. Higher rates of employee movement occur in areas of low unemployment, as would be expected, and varies according to geographical area.In a business where experience is valuable, a high turnover of staff can be damaging. This experience could be of the product, of the suppliers or of customers. Examples of these three are in motor car manufacture, or even motor racing, fine chemicals where a knowledge of raw materials is essential and the insurance indu

Ideas for a Fund Raising Event
There are many ways to raise money for a good cause. One of the first things to think about is what cause to work for and then move from there. The individual can do some research on the web about the various organizations and then see if the one can fit it with the program. These organizations if it has been operating for years have probably done the same strategy annually. If the person gets the opportunity to participate in brain storming, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to raise a suggestion, which could get praise or rejection. For example, if the organization does a marathon, why not suggest holding a regatta or a golf tournament. These sporting events happen regularly in the course of one year and tying up with the club is a win-win situation for everyone given the participants and the media coverage that will monitor the event. If art exhibits are done often, perhaps suggesting that these pieces of artwork can be sold off at the sa

Creating a Great Seminar Creating a great a seminar is not as easy as it first may appear. The presenters must be sure to present their credentials in the best possible light without misrepresenting or misleading those credentials and accomplishments. As a presenter, if you don’t walk the talk, the value of what is taught is questionable.

To avoid wasting your time and money, as well as the attendee’s money, present what you know and know what you present. Seminars are great ways to allow people to see you in action an
