No More Lies From Our Government
There is no greater lie in my opinion from government than the purported claim in a report this week to the United States Congress by the United States Department of Justices Federal Trade Commissions Consumer Protection Divisions Anti-Spam Group that they are winning the war on SPAM. How on Earth can we expect to be protected by our government when they cannot even stop SPAM on the Internet; in

The last stage is beyond the reach of most people, but even those who are lesser, are the really strong ones with an inner spring of life of their own. They have sources of strength which are not open to other people. But if one is sensitive, open and receptive, filled with reverence to the wonders and awe of the mysteries that surround him, the madness of passion, of personal desires, of lording over things, of anger and greed, undergo a radical transformation. Alternative Ways to Take Out Locust Swarms
Is it possible to take out a whole Locust Swarm using modern technology? All those things, that render men weak, are the characteristics of the body. Desires, passions, anger and fear are related to the consciousness rooted in the body. In order to lift this consciousness to the soul, these have to be eliminated. Normally, people are quite happy at their lot, and are reluctant to accept any possibility of higher levels of existence than that of their present state. Nor do they feel the need or are inclined to do so. The seeking is just not there.

If and when there is the slightest spiritual awakening in man, whether it is through distress, frustration or embitterment, through exhilaration, or through the contact of good men, the values of things around him start changing. It has its root in the assumption of responsibility for others. It begins by a dim perception of the unity of cosmic life, a wonder and appreciation toward the mysteries of life, although the individual mind is yet separate and has not yet learnt to have its being in the cosmic mind.

This in itself becomes a journey well begun. Success and failure, achievement and frustration, attraction and repulsion, health and sickness are all working out according to the laws of karma, past actions. No doubt, they have to be endured, but the quality of one’s endurance changes markedly. Annoyance, unnecessary worry, complaint and bitterness do not reduce the intensity of what one is passing through. Rather, these enhance the pain. But an attitude of acceptance, tolerance and of cheerfulness towards all unpleasant happenings as so much “account settled” makes the burden of life lighter. That which began as a drop has now gathered companions, and the journey, though seemingly leisurely, is in fact accelerated.

Then there are individuals in whom the transformation is spectacular – the drop becoming the ocean. He is calm and indifferent, as if untouched by the happenings outside – good or bad, just like the ocean’s level that remains unaffected whether the rivers empty themselves unto it or not. If there were to be a scenic representation of these situations from the mundane to the spiritual, the first state would be that of a huge, cruel oppressive world charging towards a tiny man. The second, with the somewhat spiritually inspired, it would reduce the size of the world and increase the size of man, and the charging velocity mellowed. The final stage would be that the man and the world are one, the charge replaced by welcome, and functioning in harmony.

    Choosing an Outpatient Surgery Center
Times have changed in surgery. About fifteen years ago, just about all surgery – no matter how routine or small the procedure – was done in the hospital. Now, the majority of all surgical procedures are performed in outpatient surgery centers. These facilities are usually freestanding and are not attached to the hospital. Now, even relatively complex and lengthy procedures are performed
