Answer Upon - The Reasons Why We Fear Success
Outsourcing your Business for More Profits here were ceilings or floors but you heard the sound of a growling tiger – what would you feel? What if I told you that in this room are billions of combinations that can make you instantly rich, improve your health, rekindle your current relationship or help you find the love of your life – what would you do? Would you go it this room and at least check it out?
There comes a time for most people where their business reaches a plateau. It's normally when so much of your time is taken running your business that you don't have enough time to work on expanding it and taking it to the next level. This also means your earnings/profits also get stuck at a certain level. This is when you need to look at your business and work out what processes and tasks you can outsource. If you don't do this, you won't be able to take your business to the next "level".Whether it's answering email, support, research, site building or article writing, there will be something that you can outsource. It can be a bit of a leap the first time you do it, I know for me it was a bit of a rench because it seemed like I was letting go of some level of control of my business. I only realised after I'd done it that it was actually the reverse, I was stopping the company from controlling me, and in doing so freeing up my time for more profitable things. If you are like me, then once you realise this you will start to look for what else you can outsource..The first task I outsourced was submitting my sites to directories for free one way inbound links to help those site rank better. It is such a boring tedious task that I was spending very little time doing it, so little in fact that I might as well not have been doing it.I placed a job description on RentaCoder and within a few days had 20+ people bidding on the job, varying from around $2 per hour to over $5 an hour for the work. Some people even had lists of directories that they could supply as they had previously done similar work for other clients.I ended up choosing a company who do the work for $ Would you take the chance? Most people would not and this is the essence of the Fear Of Success. As I discuss in the SHOCKphilosophy™ most people have ANTs, or Automatic Negative Thoughts that automatically hinder them and talk them out of their greatness and potential for success, wealth and happiness. By identifying what your individual, unconscious fear looks like, you will be able to transcend repeat failure an Niche Mastery - How to Choose a Niche That is Right for You II In the book, The SHOCKwealth System™, it is discussed that there are four fears that must be overcome in order to experience true success. One of those fears is the fear of success itself. The Fear Of Success is the self-sabotaging fear.
Niche Mastery - How to Choose a Niche That is Right for You IIOne of the things that you really need to do online is choose a niche. To help you choose, ask yourself these questions:What do you like to do? What are your hobbies? What do you do better than most other people? What do you know a lot about?Make a list of each of the answers to the preceding questions. This next step may be a little more difficult, and may involve using some intuition. Which of these areas are areas where people online might be willing to spend money to learn more about or to purchase things in that niche area?If you are having difficulty with this, spend some time searching for information about your niche area online. Using search engines, look up words pertaining to your niche area, and click into some of the web sites that come up in the search engine results. Are the web sites primarily information sites, or do they appear to be selling something? Are the web sites professionally created and appear to be profitable (that is a tough one to use your intuition on, but just ask yourself if you might buy something from the web sites in the search engine results)? Are there sponsored ads to the right of and to the top of the search results? Generally if there are none or very few, it can be assumed that the particular niche area is not profitable enough to justify spending money sending traffic to those niche sites. That is, however, not always the case. Sometimes there are ‘undiscovered’ niche areas that can be quite profitable, but have not been noticed. Have you ever come close to actualizing a goal that you have put forth--- only to walk away from it or sabotage it when it appeared that victory was finally near? The fear of success is what I refer to as ANTs (Automatic Negative Thoughts) and WORMS (Deep seated, unconscious beliefs and fears that act like computer viruses) in the Principles outlined in the SHOCKphilosophy™. You may fear spiritual enlightenment; successful relationships, success in finances, success in health and so on. Regardless of what kind of success you fear, it's an insidious fear virus that must be dealt with as pervasively as the fear itself. Do you recognize these ANTs?: • Mo money, mo problems • I won't know how to manage all of that money • My parents or grandparents had money and they are miserable because of it • I don't have the education to be rich • God, my religion says that I should be poor and live below my means I'm sure you can add to the list. Here are a few more reasons why we fear success in life… Accountability/Responsibility When I was a Personal Trainer, I had a fellow trainer who used to tell me that he didn't want to become too successful or rich. In fact, he said, ‘I just want to be comfortable.' Whatever the hell that means. He continued to explain to me why he didn't want wealth and success in life. ‘I don't want to become too rich or successful because that is when people start coming after you.' I thought about what he said and he is partially right. As Dr. John F. Demartini once said, "Life doesn't become easier, it only becomes more accountable." The Fear of the Unknown We fear success because we have never been successful at that which we wish to become successful, so there is an inherent fear of the unknown or the ‘What if.' Four out of five people who become depressed approach bedtime with varying degrees of dread. They toss and turn, restlessly occupied with negative thoughts. Obsess about something dumb they did, or think they did, at the party that night. Money, taxes, their teeth falling out of their gums, you name it they worry about it. When I became depressed after a long bout of anemia (many chronic illnesses produce depression), I found myself worrying about my studio tumbling into the stream that lay next to it. I knew it wasn’t rational but I felt helpless to control what my mind was doing.Anyone who’s been depressed knows how it goes. A relentlessly disturbing train of thought can begin with just the tiniest kernel of reality. The bank along the stream next to my studio was etched away in places, damaged by heavy spring rains. As my brain cells altered with the depression, the erosion escalated in my mind–first to the loss of my studio; ultimately to the loss of my home, on the same piece of land. Perhaps I should sell before my entire nest egg was swept away by the ravages of nature; on the other hand, th real estate market was so bad, maybe there would be no nest egg, and so on. Obessionl thoughts like these go hand in hand with depression and lying in bed awaiting sleep provides prime time. Lucky were the mornings when sanity returned, and I was able to have the calming thought, “This house has been sitting here since 1775; I don’t think it’s going anywhere soon.”The biological underpinnings of these anxious thoughts became strikingly clear when, after taking iron for a month or so, my blood count returned to normal and so did my mood. Suddenly–really, from one week to the next–concerns about the imm Do you recognize these ANTs?: • Mo money, mo problems • I won't know how to manage all of that money • My parents or grandparents had money and they are miserable because of it • I don't have the education to be rich • God, my religion says that I should be poor and live below my means I'm sure you can add to the list. You have worked hard since your graduation day for all of the belongings that you have amassed over the years. In fact, if you are like most people, you probably have more items in your home than you know what to do with – but they are good belongings that you really could not live without when you think about it. Because you know how valuable all of your possessions are, you have decided to get home owner’s insurance, as it seems like the best way to make sure that you can replace your items should they be damaged or destroyed or stolen. However, you may not have realized that your home insurance policy may not actually cover all of your items. If you want to be sure that your belongings are safe and sound, you may need extra home contents insurance.Unlike traditional home insurance, home contents insurance is designed to protect your belongings and only your belongings. Most, if not all, policies will not cover you should something happen to your home, or should someone be injured on your property. Instead, this type of insurance only keeps your favorite items safe and sound, and should something happen to them; the insurance company will reimburse you for their value depending on the type of insurance you purchase. But what if you do not currently own a home? What if you are renting out an apartment, but you still have quite a few valuable items that you do not want anything to happen to. You can still invest in home contents insurance, and it is really an excellent idea to do so – especially if you are living with roommates. Even if your residence is something as tiny as a dormitory room in your college or university, it makes sense to insure your belongings, as you just never know when somethi I thought about what he said and he is partially right. Pay per click is a common online marketing strategy, but many people don’t make a profit off of it. In fact, many people are not even clear how to go about figuring out if they are profitable or not.Profit is simply revenues minus cost, correct? In this case, it would be the revenues produced by the sale of a product on your site minus the cost of purchasing clicks to get that sale. For example, my profit would be $2 on a the sale of a widget on my site for $10 if it cost me $8 in PPC advertising cost, right? Ummm…no.When analyzing the cost of your pay per click efforts, it is important to take into account the full scope of revenues and costs to determine the profitability of the campaign. One has to step back from the marketing effort and take a bigger look at the business. On the revenue side, you obviously have the price a produce or service is sold for. If you are shipping something, however, you need to include that cost as well. Let’s use our example above. I sell my widget for $10 and I also charge $3 for shipping. My total revenues from the sale are $13.On the cost side, we already know I spent $8 on clicks with my PPC efforts. This is not the total cost. I also have to figure out the cost of the widget to me and the shipping cost. Let’s assume I buy the widget for $5 at wholesale and it costs me $2.50 to ship it. Adding these numbers together, we find my total cost is now $15.50. What previously seemed to be a profitable campaign is, in fact, a loser! Many people will take the expense calculation a step further. They will also add the cost of handling the transaction. This will be represented by the fractional share of the cost of hosting the site, processing credit ca With wealth, success, happiness and just being highly competent at anything, creates an accountability and responsibility to be the best that you can be at what you wish to be. There are a mind boggling number of forex brokers available to choose from. Choosing the right broker is the most important decision you can make for your forex venture. Here is a checklist of what you need to be looking for.1. Regulation. Just because a broker is available does not mean they are regulated. You may want to check first what country your broker is registered in. Some countries have lax laws regarding forex brokers. In the US, brokers are regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission or the National Futures Association. If a broker is regulated, then they must regularly submit financial reports to these organizations. If these reports are not submitted, then they can be fined, or shut down. Any person can view these financial reports (similar to publicly traded companies). This regulation also give the investors avenues to pursue if there are any issues with the broker.2. Company customer service. Check and see if there are any complaints about the forex broker with the Better Business Bureau. If there were complaints, see how the company resolved these complaints. Call or email the broker with any questions. You should not feel uncomfortable doing this, as they will be holding your money. The broker should be courteous and respond quickly to any and all questions. Does this particular broker have a lot of discrepancies between the price the trade was requested at and the actual value? This is called 'slippage' and can lead to the loss of funds if it is rampant. Some brokers will compensate you for the slippage, others do not.3. Trading options. Not all forex brokers offer the same types of platforms, spreads or leverage. You need to decide which Would you take the chance? Most people would not and this is the essence of the Fear Of Success. The Fear of Public Scrutiny/Resentment Yes, it is true; poor-minded people hate rich-minded people. Notice I said, ‘poor-minded.' Not all poor people hate the rich and wealthy, but if you haven't been watching the news lately, you may have noticed that it is an all out war on those who have publicly announced their wealth. If you are a Celebrity, a successful Entrepreneur, a noted Author on wealth, or have become so rich in business that it has garnered media attention, you will more than likely be put on public display to defend your so-called, ‘SHOCKwealth™.' The message that the media sends out to the masses is, ‘Don't get too big or rich for your britches, or we will come after you and expose your innermost turmoil to the public.' This dynamic creates and breeds a WORM; that causes us to fear success at the public level. There was even a Rap Song made famous by P Diddy and Biggie Smalls called, ‘Mo Money, Mo Problems.' Do you have the fear of success? Would you like to know how to identify and neutralize this deep seated fear/belief? Check out the SHOCKphilosophy™, and signup for the next SHOCKprocess™ Focus Group to truly begin to identify and neutralize your WORMS and ANTs – the fear of success. © 2004 The SHOCKpublishing Group, Inc.
