Occasionally, I would watch a competitor at a networking event get into a clash and not more than ten minutes later the person they were talking to was all over me trying to become close friends. Interestingly, enough my competitor and I would normally be on the same page when it came to politics. Nevertheless, I would not start in on the politics issue, yet welcomed the new networking partner that my competitor upset, so consider all this in 2006.
