Swags Australia has just completed an interesting survey of women to find out their thoughts on outdoors camping and 8 out of 10 surveyed said that they preferred men who camp to men who don't.
The reasons given were that men who camp were seen by the women as capable and good with children.
As well, 9 out of 10 women surveyed said that they had no particular interest in camping themselves and preferred hotels with air conditioning to tents and swag bed rolls.
When questioned about the attraction, the women volunteered that the underlying appeal was in the man taking the children camping and allowing them some peace and quiet.
Secondary survey questions further revealed the following...
