As a speaker, I have wanted to come up with my own system. This is a way for speakers to become different, to go beyond the 'he's just another creativity speaker.' I have learned that when a speaker has a system, many more things are possible for my clients such as, gaining a fresh perspective, generating new ideas, sharpening the focus and creating more business. Sometime at the beginning of the year I stopped trying for my system. While I put the goal of developing a system into the 'Long Term Aspiration' section in my journal, I stopped trying to force a solution. It wasn't until late this summer that it happened, some 9 months later. Towards the end of the day after a speaking assignment, I searched the Internet for a local gymnasium and jogged over to the health club. It felt good to get my body moving and my mind out of a dark conference room with heavy drapes and only a wisp of outside light. Earlier in the day, I had put in my journal that I wante
The process of producing plastic film by extruding molten resin into continuous tube is extremely simple. The elements of the process include plastic pellets (resin) which feed through the hopper into an opening on the back of an extruder. Here, heat and friction from the screw and barrel inside of the extruder convert the pellets to a melt which are forced through an annular, or ring-shaped, die to form a tube.The tube is inflated to increase its diameter and decrease the film gauge, and at the same time is drawn away from the die, also to decrease its gauge. Luckily the Maryland Lawyer did not get her bill past, but she might have? It is sickening to see folks make laws who have never had to earn a real living or make a payroll. According to one of my favorite books, "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill, he states, "The subconscious mind takes any orders given it in a spirit of absolute faith, and acts upon those orders, although the orders often have to be repeated over and over again. ... I had put the desire for a system into my journal and was jogging past an art gallery that had displays of photography when it hit me. The photographs that are simple are the most powerful.
