I have set my goals realistically and I have set them with room to maneuver. This way I don’t get too upset if I don’t exactly make what I wanted at the end of the year. I have daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals. I also have a two, five and ten year goal. So far things are going pretty good.

63. Let People Know

I am forever telling people about my goals for writing and affiliate marketing. Now just about everyday I get phone calls or emails asking me how my endeavors are going. They ask me if I have reached any of my goals. This also helps to work harder to succeed if you know you have people pulling for you. When my friend decided he wanted to lose weight I told him to tell all his friends how much he wanted to lose and how fast he wanted to do it. He didn’t have to lose a lot and his goal was small. So with his support system set up he had no problem losing the weight plus a couple extra pounds.

If you find you need to change something in your plans then be careful. I’m not telling you not to change but rather just put some thought into it first. Remember why you did it that way in the first place. Have a look at the change you are proposing and decide if that’s really the right thin
