Affiliate Revenue - Using Article Marketing and List Building to Boost Your Affiliate Revenue
One of the strongest one-two-three punches in all of internet marketing is a subscriber indoctrination program that starts with having a surfing visitor read an article, convert that surfer into a subscriber, and then converting that subscriber into a customer of your favorite affiliate program. So how do you do it? First of all, let me say that it is incredibly important that the same person write all three pieces of copy that makes this one-two-three punch so powerful. What are the pieces? The article, the squeeze page (where the visitor becomes a subscriber) and the recommendation email copy. Why does the same person need to write all three? The same person should write the copy for all three because the reader gains a connection with the writer via his or her style, personality, and prose. When the reader clicks from the article to the squeeze page, they are voting that they want to get to know the writer better. If they get to the squeeze page and do not feel the same connection, they will not subscribe. Same thing for the email copy. If they have developed a relationship, a trust with you by reading the article and then the squeeze page, but when they receive your email sequence they no longer feel that connection, they will not buy as much.People click, opt in, and buy on emotion. And emotion is fueled by feelings. And the feelings they feel when they read must remain consistent. So do this: learn to write everything you produce, or get someone else to write it for you. Do not think you can write your own articles, then pay someone to write your squeeze pages, then use the affiliate products’ email sequence. By the way, if you can write any one of those three pieces, you can write all three. Learn to do it and watch your clicks go up, your subscriber base grow, and your affiliate sales grow -- either that or buy the scripts from someone else, just be sure and have the same person write everything.

Ways to Use Communication to Increase Your Affiliate Sales
Never underestimate the power of communication. You need to keep in contact with your visitors, your merchants and other people and websites in a similar field to your websites subject content. It is important to keep up to date with latest developments and the best way to do this is to join other peoples mailing lists who will send you up to the minute information. This might be new products or product reviews, or information media. Keeping your self at the forefront means that you can pass on new information to your readership. Send your mailing list the odd News Flash between newsletters. You can also use any new information to add new content to your website.Keeping in contact with your merchant’s means that you will find out when they are running sales, offers and other promotional events. This information is great bait for guiding traffic to that particular merchant and getting cookies on your visitor’s computers.Merchants are also very keen to help affiliates, after all they want to boost their own sales. Keep your merchants informed of your own promotional developments. They will be particularly interested if you have a specific advertising strategy that could involve them and draw in lots of traffic, such as a show or demonstration or competition. If you are approaching large websites or companies to ask for samples to review or competition prizes, you will receive a better reception if you contact them via the telephone. This enables the merchant to develop a relationship with you and that in turn help to build trust. Additionally it is a lot harder to ignore someone in person compared to a click of the mouse to delete an email, which contained the same information. To keep your telephone costs down I strongly recommend using Skype, which offers free telephone calls to landline telephones.Another great way of building relationships with other websites and companies is to attend shows. There are often exhibitions up and down the country. This can offer you the chance to meet people who you have been promoting for as well as meeting new ones to discuss new ventures on the horizon.Because communication and interaction is such an important advertising medium Bots are a real asset to any website. They appear to interact with your visitors, delivering information in an audio format. The bot can be fashioned to look however you wish and they will announce a set text or you can record your own message
eBay is the world's largest online marketplace, with around 181 million customers. 43% of all internet users in the UK visit the site every month, with an average user spending almost two hours on eBay every single month.

It's no wonder that a lot of small businesses look at eBay as a way of getting into online sales. It's not all plain sailing though, and many businesses have found that it can be time consuming and unprofitable.

There are some pointers that can make trading on eBay profitable, interesting and fun. Have you noticed how some sellers can get significantly more bids and higher prices, whilst other sellers offer the same items

A New View of Yellow Page Marketing
If your community is like most, when you open the Yellow Pages to your industry’s section, you find the following:• Anywhere from five to 70 pages of ads (depending on the number of companies doing your kind of business)• The front part of the section is filled with full page or even two full page ads• If there is a graphic in the ad, it is either a picture of the business owner or store front or logo• If there is any sort of a “headline” on the ad, it is either the name of the company or a generalized but totally meaningless statement such as "no job too big . . . or too small" (sometimes there’s even a wasteful heading that says something like “need a plumber?” No, I was just looking in the P-L-U-M-B-E-R section because I need a C-H-I-R-O-P-R-A-C-T-O-R.)• There is generally a long list of types of jobs that the company handles such as (in the case of a lawn service) mowing, mulching, fertilizer, leaf removal, trimming, edging, pruning, seeding, snow plowing, hauling• There is one, or at most two, ways of contacting the company for information, usually in the form of a “free estimate” as the only offer being made in the ad Now, looking at those ads, imagine taking the name of the company out of a particular ad and simply pasting it into one of the other ads in the same section of the book. If you switched the names of the companies all around, would it make any difference? In other words, is there any real difference at all between the ads?If you were the consumer in need of goods or services provided by your company, how could you go about differentiating one business from the next based upon their Yellow Page advertising? Can you begin to see now that there is almost no useful information for consumers in the Yellow Pages? (By the way, you could do this same experiment with most TV or radio advertising as well.) Think about it. Switch the names around. Most businesses have a terribly difficult time differentiating themselves from one another in a very crowded market place. For the consumer who is doing "research" and is in search of a carpet cleaner, for example, there is almost no useful information currently available in any media typically used by carpet cleaners. Does size of an ad matter? Maybe. But carpet cleaners can continue to beat each other’s brains in buying larger ads, more pages and more color. This is nothing but shouting louder. In marketing, “shouting louder” means spe

    Trade Show Booth Tear-Down
After a show wraps, your entire booth staff will want to leave as soon as possible. Some may even book return flights that coincide with the end of the show. Avoid laying the burden of tear-down, packing and shipping on one person. In your pre-show planning, be sure that staff time and travel allows for adequate booth tear-down, packing, and shipping.Never tear-down your booth before the show is over. This projects an unprofessional and "I can't wait to get out of here!" message to those last-minute attendees, who by the way, may have a need to hurry up and gather info about your product/service!Take care when packing up your booth – particularly with graphic panels and lighting. Trade show displays are an investment, and should be treated as such in packing and shipping. Be sure that you have appropriate shipping cases that will protect your displays in shipping.Obey the shipping rules and regulations of the show hall. Most halls and conference centers require your packages to be marked and/or left for the shippers in a certain way. Failure to properly pack, label, or leave your packages in the right location may results in their being lost, damaged, or slow to return.

    Barcode Label Adhesives
An integral part of barcode labeling, barcode label adhesive is the substance or material applied to the back of a barcode label to attach it to the surface of a particular item. A barcode label adhesive should be of industrial grade and must have an apply temperature ranging from 40 °F to 250 °F.Shear, tack, and peel are among the properties that are critical for barcode label adhesives. Shear represents the measurement of an adhesive's internal strength with which it attaches itself; shear is especially important on curved surfaces. Adhesives with a low shear fall off easily, while high-shear adhesives do not. Tack measures the ability of an adhesive to build an instantaneous bond with the surface on which it is applied. Peel determines the force required to remove a label.Barcode labels are available in a variety of adhesive backings, and the application of adhesives depends upon the type of surface and quality of label material. The weight of the adhesive coat varies according to the application requirements. Barcode label adhesives are generally classified into two groups: permanent and removable barcode label adhesives. Most of the barcode applications employ permanent barcode label adhesives. A feature of this type of barcode label adhesive is that it has a strong adhesion to a range of surfaces including paper, plastic, and stainless steel. Permanent barcode label adhesives are generally used for applications where removal is not required or necessary.Removable barcode label adhesives are used for barcode applications where the label is temporary. Common examples of removable barcode label are price tags affixed on costly consumer items. The apply temperature of removable barcode label adhesives starts at around 40°F, which is higher than that of the permanent barcode label adhesives. For particular applications, barcode label adhesives are further sub-divided into acrylic, acid-free, cold-temperature, high-temperature, pressure-sensitive, emulsion, food contact, silicone, solvent, rubber, and glove-friendly adhesives.
