I have made friends all around the world. We have helped hundreds of people get started in their own businesses. We have built a small successful real estate business. We are real estate investors, and own 3 other profitable online/offline businesses. It takes a lot. For many new people, a home based business requires new thinking, new attitudes, new skills and new paradigms. They have to do all that, AND keep their day jobs. For many starting a home based business, they already have jobs, families, responsibilities, etc, etc. The interesting thing is that most all of these businesses have a pathway, a system to success. So the question is not the “how” of the business, most of that is already answered… So if the how is already answered, then why aren’t more people “doing it?” People ask me this when we are talking about purchasing property using creative financing , refinancing property; people ask me this about starting their new businesses. It’s a great question, and it’s not so easy to answer… There are a million things that people could be doing that they don’t. For example, people could save millions of $$ in taxes just by starting their own business and keeping good records, they wouldn’t even have to spend any more money than they are now, the savings would be spectacular. Why don’t they do it? There is probably a better job out there than the one that they have now. One that would pay more, and give better benefits. Why don’t they take it? There are projects around the house that need to be done… Why don’t they do it? The question is really about human nature. We tend to do the things that are familiar and easy. There is nothing wrong with that, it is just the way that it is. Most people are not motivated enough to actually go out and change their situation. All of them can, few of them will. Most people do not want to be bothered with changing anything. One of the biggest problems that we have in America is that making a living is pretty easy. Most of us will not starve if we don’t build our secondary businesses. Most of us have adequate housing.. So what is the big push to want “more?” But you, simply because you are reading this, are a cut above the rest. You are active in your business, you are moving forward and trying to achieve more.
