What kind of things should you outsource?

1. Directory submissions.

Make sure you set up a separate gmail, yahoo or hotmail account for the submission reply emails to go to and check that the work has been done.

Make a list of domains that you want submitted and get them all done so that the new links appear over a coupe of months, rather than all in one go, this looks more natural to the search engines.

2. Get articles written. Make sure the articles you get written are good quality.

If you are getting them written for submitting to article directories then better quality articles get used more and therefore you will get better more/better links.

If you are using them for your own unique content sites, then you want to offer your visitors good quality information to encourage them to visit again and to sign up for your newsletter.

You should aim for at least 500 words and a keyword density of around 2%, this should cost between $5-10 per article, depending on the quality.

When you post the job make sure candidates send you an example of their work. I would also recommend giving two or three a few test subject to write articles on before you make you're final decision as to who to use in the long term.
