Handling Fringe Group Boycotts and PR Marketing; Case Study re are marketing methods out there that I have not even begun to understand but I understand common sense and that alone knocks out a lot of the so called marketing methods. What do you do if your business becomes a target of a fringe group boycott in your small business? It can hurt your business. This happened to me once in my company. You see we did a car wash fundraiser for the Boy Scouts of America at the height of the Homosexual Attack on the group.Little did we realize that some of the fringe in the Gay and Lesbian Community would take it upon themselves to stage a boycott of our company? As far as the fringe, which is causing the problem for the whole, I think that the G & L Community ought to control them, mentor them or talk with them. When I have sat down with them to discuss things one on one, I noticed a difference than in groups. But that does make their shenanigans okay at other times. Now then I agree that Homosexuals are generally are not dumb people, I would say on average the G & L crowd is smarter than average, my theory being that they remove themselves from basic society and step back and look at it in a different light, thus have greater insight and often seek intellectual pursuit or excellence in a chosen endeavor. This has been my experience in dealing with I know from a stand point, anyone who has been online for less than 2 years is a Newbie and they prey on this. I don't like that method, thinking we are too stupid to figure out the basics. Now I do feel that you should learn the basics of human behavior to understand the psychology of why people buy and what helps them to buy. If there is one thing that is very hard to maintain online is integrity and honesty. What happens when I change Payroll Providers? Timing Forms Procedures Timing. It is easiest for all concerned to change payroll service providers at calendar year end. That way there is no question about responsibility for any tax forms or deposits. Every form, deposit or payment starting with January 1 is the responsibility of the new payroll service provider. There is no trying to balance the payroll numbers and make sure no terminated employee is missed and that all deposits were made on time. If you can’t change at year-end then calendar quarter end (March 31, June 30, and September 30) is second best. That said, if you need or want to, you should be able to change at any time of the year. How long should it take? The bigger the company the longer it will take simply because the more employees there are the more data there is. If you have employees in multiple states that will make the process take longer. You should however be able to take a business of 50 employees and change over in less than two weeks, from submitting the And also patience.. Patience in waiting for those sales to fly in. Hoping that you do not get so frustrated that you close up shop and never venture online again. We all go through this every now and then. The frustration sets in and you just don't know what to do. We all learn through various methods how to get started online but there are a few things that people don't teach you. Normally when you look at other ways to make a profit, the first thing most people do is to go to those sites and publishers who they believe can steer them in the right direction. But then you start to see certain sales tactics that you become hip to and wonder why they do it in the first place. Some are ethical and some are not. The legality is not the issue, but it does raise a few moral eyebrows. Although I am sure it is billed as a good sales tool, what I get tired of seeing sometimes are the ezines that start out by giving you a good speech about changing your life and making money and to not fall for the hype, and it all ends with a link to some new ebook or a new private site. This looked like a fantastic coup for Microsoft -- one that would make them a serious Google competitor on the search engine and online advertising front. But that deal fell apart last week and culminated in a phone call on December 16 in which AOL told Microsoft the deal was off.Google sweetened their offer and AOL went for it. Under the new deal, Google will pay $1 billion for 5% of AOL -- about twice the market value -- and will continue to share advertising revenue with AOL.The stakes couldn't have been much higher for both companies. AOL accounts for about 11% of Google's revenue, and to have lost to Microsoft would have meant a significant shift in the search engine wars. Microsoft would have gained overnight credibility for both its search and advertising services. On the AOL side, this deal stems recent criticism that the company is floundering with nowhere to go. Not only does this represent a re-valuation of AOL, but bolsters its efforts to diversi As if that is supposed to be the answer to all your business and financial problems. The combination of oil and water should give you a clue. It is critical to know how you and your boss are 'wired.' If you are in sales it is especially important to understand the difference because if you approach a visionary in the same manner that you would a strategist gaining permission to advance the sale will be more difficult. A lot of material talks about management 'style' but none talk about management ‘wiring’ or the natural bent people have that, in essence, determines their style. Without understanding that missing link challenges and frustrations in the workplace abound. Take heart, you are about to learn something that will change your life. Customer service is not customer service if it is not courteous. Courtesy is usually defined as politeness originating from kindness and exercised habitually. This is what actually encompasses quality customer service. Basing from this you can actually say that the measure of good costumer service is courtesy towards customers. The Importance of Courteous Customer ServiceSo how do you practise courteous customer service? First, determine the needs of your customers. By needs, we refer not only to the needs that they will pay you for but to any need that will provide them convenience while under your care. Just take for example when you are going to a hotel. When you rent a hotel room, you primarily pay for the room, water and electricity or even food. However, the best hotels in the world are not renowned only for their rooms but for the very service that they provide. You certainly do not pay for the security guard to open the door for you but you consider it quality service when he does. This implies that courteous customer servi I know from a stand point, anyone who has been online for less than 2 years is a Newbie and they prey on this. Now I do feel that you should learn the basics of human behavior to understand the psychology of why people buy and what helps them to buy. People do buy on emotions and it just depends on how bad you want to play on that factor. Just as when you are looking to see what is wrong with a person, you have to look at their background ( childhood) first before any assumptions are made. That is just plain old business common sense right there. But I am not talking about that but the whole concept of : "You are too stupid to know why I am selling you this over hyped book which contains nothing more than a bunch of fancy words and still no real help" I can't tell you that the money is in the list and then expect you to just figure out how to start a newsletter. I can't tell you to join every high paying commission affiliate program and then not tell you how to market the site. I can't tell you that this book will make you rich when all it may do is lead you down a path that you didn't want to take in the first place. ( We have all been there, you wanted to sell some teddy bears online, next thing you know you are members of a bunch of forced matrix programs that have nothing to do with your original purpose) I know most of us want an easy way of living so they assume that they can find it online. Remember a lot of these "experts" became that way years ago when no one knew any better. No one knew about spam, pyramid schemes, and other cons, so it was easy back then. When there was free web hosting, free internet service, free everything. Now folks are trying to make us pay to send email. It has become a mad rush to grab everyone's attention because the next month our brains will no longer have an interest. NOW I SEE THE PROBLEM Remember in the beginning, you have all your morals and ethics intact and they are not changing. 6 months down the line, you are getting discouraged and you start to look at those other programs you were not going to get into. 12 months down the line, you are running yourself ragged trying to build a downline. 18 months later, you wonder, what the heck am I doing. I am still broke, and I can't figure out where I went wrong. But all your morals and ethics flew out the door about 9 months ago and you didn't even realize it. There is nothing wrong with readi
