    Sales Organization Strategies
Sales Organization Strategies It was 3000 BC. Tribal club seller Og ran into stone knife salesperson Ur down at the local watering hole. After the mandatory exchange of grunts and dinosaur claws, talk turned to the best way to set up a sales group. Five thousand years later, CEOs are still debating. Everyone has an opinion, very few people get to start off with a clean slate, and often things “just happen” rather than result as part of a long term strategy.Companies struggle with the right strategy for their sales department. The internet, cell phones, instant connectivity, and massive blasts of technology change the landscape – yet, the strong personalities within the sales organi
A friend of mine received a chilling email message from his ISP the other day. Someone had reported him as sending SPAM and the ISP warned that an additional SPAM complaint would result in losing his hosting service - period. No ifs, ands or buts!

The ISP just took the word of the person filing the complaint as gospel, even though my friend had the email subscription notification where this person, or someone posing as them, had subscribed.

My friend sent me a copy of the subscription notification. And sure enough, there it was as plain as day… it contained the date, time and the subscription IP address of the person making the Spam allegation. Unfortunately, all this evidence fell on deaf ISP

    Business Essentials
There are six facets of business that affect a company’s growth potential and life cycle: accounting, economics, finance, information systems, marketing, and management. Classified by academia and employed primarily by corporate America, each facet of business is essential for success. Consider the following example: For every organization, there is a product or service that portrays an image or defines a brand. Marketing plans are implemented to both safeguard and impel a company’s efforts to increase net worth and market share. Where applicable, shareholder return on investment is also maximized. Assets such as land, labor, and capital are frequently monitored business investments, as is a c

The Smart Way To Get Listed On Google!
So you want to get listed on Google? And you want a GOOD listing on Google? "But my website is not popular and is too new to be noticed by Google," you say?Well, I have a solution to your problem. There are couple ways to get listed on Google. First, there's the wrong way. Or should I say the way that takes an extra long time, which also happens to be the way that's not as popular with Google. In other words, it's the way that might get you listed but NOT anywhere large amounts of people will see it. So, I see that method as useless.Google has a place for you to add your URL for your site to be placed in que for crawling. It's at http://www.google.com/addurl.html.I haven't known any

How to Deliver Training and Development that Delivers the Desired Business Outcomes
To be competitive and to remain a player in today’s 24/7 knowledge driven business world requires that your employees be thoroughly trained to deliver the best customer service both to your external and internal customers. The old 19th and 20th centuries’ paradigm of controlling the employee has transformed to one of freedom for today’s knowledge worker.Yet, continued research suggests that the majority of training and development initiatives estimated at 80 to 90% whether they come from the human resource department to the executive management team fail to deliver a positive return on investment. Consequently, when training fails, the first department to experience budget cuts is human resource becaus

Guidance for Increasing Traffic to a New Website
    1. Good Content. Create a good quality website, with useful content and simple design. A basic idea but sometimes companies think about SEO before having anything good to link about. Writing articles will help. Generally these will benefit from being clear and easy to read rather than dense and complex.2. Be patient. In the first 6-12 months you shouldn’t expect too much traffic. Your site will be sandboxed. This means it takes at least 6 months to start getting good results from Google.3. Offer Something Unique. The internet is highly competitive. Try to offer something unique and interesting.4. Identify the niche market for the site. For example if your website is about Mortgages it is vi

This little incident firms my conviction that a federal CAN- SPAM law might not be a bad idea after all. Without it, persons alleging Spam, like the one above, may be able to sue under State law. And that's where the nightmare begins…

Oh sure, the person will most likely end up losing the case but here's the typical situation. The "injured party" files a lawsuit and the ISP immediately shuts off service to the publisher. And guess what, the publisher is immediately out of business even though she/he is sitting there with evidence that the alleg
