As we continued our walk, we sat on a bench just people watching. It was here that my son was served lunch (the left breast). He never ceased to amaze me with his natural instinct to tug away at his meal, causing sweat beads to form on his little forehead and cheeks.
I smiled down on this little human being, who again fell fast asleep. A perfect trip, just carrying my newborn in a backpack instead of carrying an extra suitcase, filled with bottles, measuring spoon and cans of formula to accommodate breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Breast milk is naturally sterile and eliminates long hours of bottle washing or boiling. Breast milk offers natural immunities, and the poops in the diaper are not foul smelling. It could not get better than this.
